The Couch to Triathlon program is NOT just for first time Triathletes! We are providing coaching and support for 1st-timers to 5th-timers who want to improve their overall triathlon experience. If you want to do more than just 'survive' a triathlon, then this is the program is for you!

The 8-week Couch to Triathlon program is for YOU! You may already be off the couch as a runner, cyclist, boxer, dancer, parent, or even with your first few triathlons under your belt...but there is so much more to the sport. Join us as we learn the skills of training and support one another to our 1st, 2nd, or even 5th triathlon!
The Couch to Triathlon program is designed with the beginner in mind. We will help you move from swim, to bike to run more smoothly! The program includes access to over 8 coached weekly workouts, education seminars, cool swag, product and race discounts, and membership to the SLAP Tri Team for the rest of the year!

*The first program starts May 19 and concludes with a local race on July 14th.

A Sprint Triathlon is 400 meters of swimming the open water, followed by 11 miles of road cycling, and finishes with a 5k run.
And we believe that YOU can do it!
Join the SLAP Triathlon Team & USA Triathlon Certified Coach Liesl for 8 weeks of group training, mentoring, coaching, and fitness. The Couch to Triathlon program ends with participation in a local sprint-distance triathlon event.

The Couch to Triathlon training schedule is being finalized by Coach Liesl and will be delivered via the Training Peaks app to all registered participants of the program. There will be multiple group training sessions each week to fit your schedule. ***You are not required to attend all sessions...and some training will be completed on your own time!***
